HEVA FUND
The CWP Ltd. provided strategic event, media, and publicity coordination for the launch of the NCBA Bank and HEVA Fund financing pact supporting Kenya’s creative economy. Working closely with senior leadership teams from both institutions, The CWP Ltd. managed the communications architecture surrounding the announcement, ensuring that messaging across media, stakeholders, and attendees was clear, compelling, and aligned with the broader goal of positioning the creative sector as an investable and structured economic growth engine.
The launch marked a significant milestone, introducing bespoke credit products designed for artists and creative enterprises that have historically operated outside mainstream banking. Given the technical nature of the financing model and its blended finance elements, communications needed to translate complex financial concepts into accessible narratives for diverse audiences — including journalists, policymakers, investors, and creative entrepreneurs.
The scope of work included:
· Strategic communications planning and narrative development for the launch announcement
· Media relations management, including targeted press outreach and briefing materials
· Executive messaging and speaking points for leadership and partners
· Program design and event flow to balance institutional authority with sector representation
· Publicity coordination on launch day, including press handling, interviews, and real-time media support
· Post-event communications support to sustain coverage and stakeholder engagement
The engagement highlighted The CWP Ltd.’s ability to manage high-visibility communications moments where reputation, sector perception, and institutional positioning intersect. By aligning messaging across stakeholders and translating financial innovation into clear public-facing language, the launch successfully signaled confidence in Kenya’s creative industries as a viable investment sector.
Beyond the event itself, the work reflects a broader strategic communications approach — one that recognizes that announcements are only the beginning. Sustained narrative development, stakeholder alignment, and continued visibility are essential to ensuring initiatives like the NCBA–HEVA financing pact deliver lasting impact within the creative economy ecosystem.
